In media studies (film and photography subject) we were working on our photography skills as a project. We were using this project to advertise and exploit Grey mouth and our photography skills. We used a range of different shots to show our understanding of picture manipulation . We previously had a shoot and we were showing off our high key lighting knowledge. We showed pictures of the environment to also help sell off Greymouth as a clean and warm place. In some of these photos we did posing to show our skills of working with moving props and people.
In this photo we did high key lighting with shadows and posing. We had a high key lighting from the sunset in the background and the shadows of the beach contrast each other and have a certain affect with the picture drawing your attention all around the image.
This is another image using posing. We tried to capture natural positioning. The lighting faded out with the clouds but it left a grey kinda scene and we used this on highlight to environment
